Tiny House

The Tiny House Barcelona is a project born from the vocation of service, with the aim of decongesting tourism in Barcelona and giving guests a service that is hard to find. Live an experience in nature, but a few minutes from the Catalan capital. To make this possible we have done several market studies, contacted many mini house builders until we were able to build our project, from scratch, but with the aim of meeting the needs of our guests.

Our Tiny House Barcelona has a memory of high-end manufacturing qualities. The Tiny House Barcelona has a width of 2.50 meters and a length of 7.00 meters, with a height of walls from 3.00 meters to 3.25 meters to form a home with a total of 17.5m2 of useful surface. As you can see, The Tiny House Barcelona is mounted on a base metal chassis and sub-frames of 2.5 meters by 7 meters, galvanized by immersion, on which the whole house runs.

Real Tiny Houses, like ours, have European-approved home trailer documentation, ours, with a double axle and inertia brake documented for 3,500 Kg. For guests to sleep comfortably, we have incorporated four stabilizers that ensure that The Tiny House Barcelona is stable.

The interior structure of the sides and roof we built using 60 x 35 mm wooden slats. The interior walls are made of birch panels and okumen exterior cladding. The Tiny House Barcelona is located in the heart of the Collserola Natural Park , in an area called Vallpineda, due to the large volume of small valleys and the large number of pine forests. In summer it is a hot Mediterranean area, but in winter the climate is humid. This fact has forced us to make an effort to isolate the Tiny House as best as possible. You will see that the ceiling and walls are very well covered, with wooden finishes and with beams, all thermally insulated using 13 mm reflective membranes, TYVEK membranes with an intermediate air chamber that prevents the passage of moisture into the wood and it protects it against the attack of fungi and its rotting.

The roof is constructed with external OSB panels sealed with fiberglass to prevent any type of water and moisture ingress, with an external tile-type coating and sheets mounted in bituminous.

A small kitchen, but ideal for a few days of disconnection

When you're on holiday you don't tend to cook a lot, but at The Tiny House Barcelona we provide guests with a practical kitchen where they can cook and eat comfortably. It has a sink, tap, two-burner induction hob, extractor hood and a small fridge. On the opposite side it has two storage modules and a small bar where meals can be made while observing nature outside.

Next to the kitchen you have the staircase, which has three cupboards for storage, where you will find cleaning utensils and where you can store your luggage. The stairs will lead you to the loft, which has a double bed.

A beautiful, comfortable and well-integrated bathroom

A good Tiny House differs from the basic ones by its distribution, by the finishes and by the comfort that can be experienced there. At The Tiny House Barcelona you will find a kitchen and a bathroom that will make you feel at home. The bathroom, with a 110x70 shower tray with a fixed glass partition that closes up to the ceiling, the taps, the bathroom furniture, or the upper module with mirror and the toilet will allow you to enjoy your stay with the maximum possible comfort.

The interior and exterior finishes, thought subjectively

We built The Tiny House Barcelona thinking about the spaces and quality standards that we would like to find when we travel and stay in a Tiny House or mini house. The interior floors of the entire Tiny House are parquet, AC5 quality, and the walls are finished with wooden slats finished in white, horizontally to generate a feeling of more space. As you can see, the ceiling is also designed and you will see that it has wooden beams.

The exterior finishes are not so important but we have also taken them into account. The carpentry of the windows, a door with which guarantees external views, climalit glass with a chamber to enhance the insulation, the exterior wood finishes, a gable roof and a well decorated box, where we keep the 80 liter thermos. As you can see, we have taken care of all the details to turn The Tiny House Barcelona into a peaceful, romantic corner for those looking for a space of confidence and love, or a quiet space to enjoy with the family, for those who come with children.
